RFT's Mission
RFT will enlighten audience experiences through visceral works created by emerging and dedicated artists that ignites conversation and reflects our humanity.
Our Vision
The Rising Fire Theatre will strive to establish a fully-funded and staffed resident theatre company that supports artistic and overall community.
RFT will also serve as a stepping stone arts organization for students as they prepare to enter the professional arts world.
The work we produce, whether classical or contemporary, by well-known award winning playwrights, or by new vital voices needing to be heard, will highlight and explore the issues of contemporary society.
Our Goals
RFT will engage in strengthening the existing arts, education, and business communities in the Cedar Valley by working with passionate, willing, and invested local talent to:
Produce at least four fully staged productions comprising of high school, college, post-grad, and community artists.
Create a studio series as an avenue for artists to gain experience through new play workshops and staged readings.
Promote our supporting partnerships with local and statewide businesses through our season marketing plan, social media, and live events.
