Auditions: The Human Condition

The Human Condition is a one-hour play about Abbi and Caleb, two terminally ill twenty-somethings in a hospital waiting area, learning about each other and preparing to die. They navigate feelings of regret, anger, and acceptance as the gradual neurosis of the other side begins to set in. Armed with only memory, make-believe, and unquantifiable time, they cling to the vestiges of experience, human connection, and what it is that makes us alive.
Roles:
ABBI (20s) wistful and reflective – Abbi is looking for something.
CALEB (20s) impulsive and irrational – Caleb always has something to complain about.
Auditions open to people 18+ and of all genders and ethnicities.
Auditions will consist of sides from the script prepared for you at auditions. Monologues are not required but welcome if you want to show us something!
Show dates are
October 21st, 22nd, 23rd;
October 28th and 29th.
